Cloak, also known as Tyrone Johnson, is a Marvel character first appearing in Peter Parker, the Spectacular Spider-Man #64 in March 1982.
He gained his powers alongside Tandy Bowen (Dagger) after being subjected to experimental drugs by Simon Marshall of Roxxon Oil. As Cloak, Tyrone is linked to the Darkforce Dimension, a source of dark energy.
This dimension grants him the ability to engulf others in darkness, teleport, and sense evil. However, Cloak requires "light" from Dagger to maintain his sanity and control his powers.
